Rachel McDowell - Joinelixium

Dr. Rachel McDowell is an Emergency Physician. She earned her BA in English from Columbia
University before pursuing her MD at the Medical School for International Health at Ben Gurion
University in Israel. Dr. McDowell completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at the University
of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Since then, she has been actively practicing Emergency Medicine
and has also earned a certification in telemedicine.
Dr. McDowell holds active medical licenses in 41 states and 2 countries.
She is involved in hospital and telemedicine quality assurance and is increasingly engaged in
lifestyle medicine. Additionally, she serves on the Lake County Board of Health, is a summer camp
medical director, and is on active staff at multiple hospitals.
Dr. McDowell resides in the Chicago suburbs with her spouse and their six children.
